5 WAYS TO OVERCOME LONELINESS.

HOW TO DEAL WITH LONELINESS ???

Haruki Murakami, in his novel "Sputnik Sweetheart" talked about the spaceship 'Sputnik', where the dog alone named Laika went there, for traveling to the eternity. And Murakami wondered, how did the dog feel, totally alone in this whole universe, what did he concentrate about there!
So, like Laika, we all are the same. Sometimes we all feel so lonely, there are a lot of people around us but we don't feel any connections with them. Murakami's this thought is one of the deepest thought I've ever read. From this, I want to say that when you feel that much of loneliness, everything around you started feeling so misleading, then, firstly just accept what's your feeling at that moment, but I would say, don't live in that feeling long. Feeling of loneliness can damage you immensely and resulted into depression.
I would say, you should stop thinking that way. I will suggest, in loneliness, try some different things to engage your mind.
Let's see, if my points give you some relief-

1) DON'T JUST SIT BACK~
Get up, meet with people. I don't think, that everyone around you is negative. You also can choose talking into phone. Think, which people you can be with such a time like this.

2) JOIN A CLASS~
Yes, you can join a class, online or maybe if possible go offline. Check out your interest areas like designing, singing or writing. Now a days many courses are available within 2-3 months or some courses may take 6 months. So, join it. You'll feel engage, you will get opportunity to learn new things too. It will be fun.

3) PLAN YOUR DAY~
Try to make a plan for your day. Make a vision board and write down everything you want to or need to do in the whole day. Reschedule your old routine a little bit.
If needed, start a journal. It helps me very much during my bad times.

4) DO SELF TALK (POSITIVE PLEASE)~
Sound weird? No, actually it's therapeutic. When you feel lonely, you just started to think 'Why I am like this?', 'What have I done to my life!?' and other negative thoughts to fill up your brains. Need to stop that.
Positive self talk will lead you to improvement of your life. For that, accept that, this phase is going on and you feel lonely. Now try to find those "why" . 'Why am I feeling this way' , 'why I should stop this', also 'how to fix it' too.

5) SOLITUDE MATTERS ~
Though I understand that, not everytime we want to become socially active. Which goes with me sometimes. So, then do something, use this 'me time' effectively. Read a book (obviously a happy one, romantic one or humourous one maybe), you can try to do which are unknown things to you. Like cooking a new recipe, practicing art, needle works.. explore! But doing just nothing, will not help you to cope up with loneliness.

Lastly, always remember, you are not alone. This phase is not your entire life, but only a part of it. We all feel lonely sometimes with people or without people, but we just feel this feeling!
Also if you really need help then please consult with a therapist. Loneliness is not a disease, it's a dark side of your usual lifestyle. It will fade away and until that, take time and hold yourself a bit.

  1. I absolutely loved reading this post !! Every point that you have raised is so relevant. Positive self talk is soo important and effective. Reading or listening to self help conten can help too. In order to feel less lonely one must be active. Inactivity leads to a lot of mental problems.

ECHOES ACROSS TIME

Aarav and Nisha arrived on Havelock Island, hoping to escape the rush of their everyday lives. The island felt untouched—quiet beaches, clear water, and a silence that seemed from another time. Their hotel was small and old, filled with antique furniture and forgotten memories. While Aarav rushed to the beach, Nisha lingered. She found a leather-bound diary hidden beneath old letters, worn with age. The diary belonged to a woman named Shivani, dated 1970. Curious, Nisha asked the hotel manager about it. He smiled gently. “It’s been here for as long as I can remember,” he said, “but no one knows how it got here.” Nisha began reading. Shivani had left everything behind—her family, her friends, even her fiancÊ—to live in solitude on the island. She didn’t explain why, only that she needed to step away from the life she knew. “I needed to get away from the noise,” Shivani wrote. “I wanted to be invisible, to live without the weight of anyone’s expectations. There is peace in being f...

Perspectives On One Sided Love!

" Ek taarfa pyar ki taaqat hi kuchh aur hoti hai ....." and the rest we all know from the famous movie dialogue. Sometimes, I feel one sided love is more treated as an ignorant side! But these things are not that much colourful as the movie cuts take place. Rather, if we step into the real world, I guess, we'll see, it has a gray shade. That's right, not love, but one sided love is actually a gray shade. It is so delicate in both ways, the one who loves and the one who don't love that person. Do you feel the same way?   đŸŒģ Honestly, I haven't faced any one sided love from my side. But I felt it from the other way, that, I became someone else's one sided love! It is not disturbing all the time, but obviously, sometimes, it is. This post will discuss from the perspective of a person who became very special for someone only one-sided way! At times, I ask myself why do these types of relationship exits? I am sure it is painful, painful to know that the one you...
